Sunbrella for Shading
Sunbrella fabrics can be used for shading on porches, pergolas or pergodas. The UV protection in all Sunbrella fabrics allows for color protection while adding color and style. Sunbrella Sheer fabrics allow airflow but minimize the harmful UV rays. Different types of Sheer fabric are available depending on the level of airflow and UV protection that is needed. Sunbrella fabrics have passed the rigorous test to earn The Skin Cancer Foundation Seal. Sunbrella fabrics not only provide shade and comfort, but add the peace of mind that your family is being protected from harmful UV rays.

Drying Outdoor Cushions
Leaving outdoor cushions in furniture directly exposed to rain is a concern shared by many customers. Sunbrella outdoor fabric can withstand the exposure to sun and rain but cushions are often left waterlogged. Most custom made cushions have a zipper across the back, rear or bottom of the cushions. At www.outsidefabric.com we recommend that the cushions be turned up so that the water can drain from the foam through the openings of the zipper teeth. After several hours the cushions should drain and the fabric will dry fairly quickly.

Sunbrella Fabric for Outdoor Use
The warranty for Sunbrella fabrics was recently increased from 3 to 5 years. This applies to both color fastness (fading) and fabric strength. The warranty provides for 100 percent replacement value of the fabric through the fifth year of service. Sunbrella fabric is more resistant to fading due to the type of yarn used in making the fabric. The yarn is died throughout and not just on the surface. This allows for greater wear and minimal fading. Sunbrella fabrics are available at www.outsidefabric.com
